Kloud Wingfoil at Isla operates from Bulabog Beach during the November–April Amihan season. From June–October, teaching moves to Sinagpa on the other side of Boracay. The center remains based at Bulabog; confirm the day’s lesson meeting point before setting out. Ask the team about May and any weather-related changes.
Kloud reports typical Amihan winds of 10–18 knots in November, early December, late March and April, and 18–30 knots from mid-December to mid-March. These are seasonal guides, not forecasts. Tides can vary by 1.5–2 m, so the school adjusts session times and teaching areas for safe foil clearance.

Sinagpa / White Beach
Kloud’s June–October teaching area on the opposite coast, about 2 km from its Bulabog center. Arrange your exact meeting point with the team; a seasonal move does not establish access everywhere along White Beach.
Before entering the water
The school describes reef-protected water, but protection does not establish uniform depth or constant flatness. We have not verified a current wing-specific zoning map or minimum tide rule. Ask the center about shallow areas, the authorized entry, shared traffic, mast clearance and recovery arrangements. Do not assume the outer reef or another discipline’s riding area is appropriate for a first foil session.

Lessons & coaching
Wing foil lessons in Boracay.Wingfoil at Isla.
Kloud Wingfoil is the wing foiling department of Isla Kitesurfing, led by Raphael Grenier, known as Raf. The team offers beginner sessions, private progression and advanced coaching. The center opens year-round, 8am–6pm; the teaching beach changes with the season, and sessions depend on wind, tide and safe water depth.

Lesson equipment is included: wing, a SUP with fins for first steps, beginner foil board, short masts and large foils, plus booties, impact vest, rashguard and helmet.
The seven-hour lesson offer includes two hours of independent practice with a fins board, wing and gear, valued at ₱4,800. This is a fins-board practice offer; it is not a free foilboard rental package.

Meet the team
Arthur teaches in French and English and brings around 20 years of watersports and sailing instruction. Dindin teaches in Tagalog and English, entering her third wingfoil season after five years teaching kitesurfing. Kloud Raf provides VIP coaching and staff training, drawing on over 20 years of sports coaching. Arar helps select, rig and carry equipment; Jen and the office team assist in Filipino and English.
Participants must be able to swim. Adults should be in good health; ask the school to confirm suitability for children, including age, swimming ability and equipment fit.

Independent riders must be able to stay upwind. Otherwise, a supervised session or check-out is required.

Multi-day coaching
Ask about the seven-hour lesson offer and a schedule suited to your goals. Accommodation and camp packages are not included in the listed lesson prices.
Booking and cancellation terms
A 10% deposit is due at booking. The school accepts Revolut, Wise, local bank transfer, PayPal, international transfer and crypto.
Cancellations more than 48 hours before the session receive a full refund. Confirm the policy within 48 hours directly with the school. No-shows and late arrivals are charged in full; late sessions are not extended. Unsuitable weather leads to rescheduling or a full reimbursement.

For riders ready for an open-water trip, Kloud offers boat-supported downwind adventures around Boracay and nearby Carabao Island. The team takes riders upwind by boat before the downwind journey, with pro riders, a trained lifeguard and a support boat described in its trip information.
One described route runs from Said Beach on Carabao Island to Bulabog lagoon. The direct distance is around 10–12 km; the actual riding route can be longer. The school confirms the route, ability requirements, equipment, price and conditions for your trip.

Getting here & getting around
Shangri-La’s directions identify Caticlan, also called Godofredo P. Ramos (MPH), as the closest airport and Kalibo (KLO) as an alternative with a longer land journey. Reaching the island involves a boat connection. Its private lounge and speedboat are resort-specific, not the public transfer service. Confirm the transfer chain and acceptance of large foil bags with your chosen provider, including current fees and arrangements.

A mixed-interest group need not spend every session on the same shore. Agree whether companions want to travel with you to lessons or meet afterward, especially when the operating beach changes by season. Reef Riders lists SUP as another activity to ask about. Build the day around actual lesson times and transport rather than assuming a whole course leaves you independently foiling by its final afternoon.

During the southwest monsoon, May–October, it describes a move to Sinagpa on White Beach, at the Boracay Terraces Resort beachfront. These seasonal changes are useful when choosing accommodation and transport. Confirm the actual meeting beach for your dates rather than relying on a fixed map pin.

Reef Riders: wing lessons and rentals

The published program covers beach wing handling, board balance, first foil rides and progression. Lessons include a board, wing and harness; shoes are also provided. The rate table lists discovery at PHP 6,000, beginner Levels 1 and 2 at PHP 12,000 each, and the combined course at PHP 24,000. Full-set rentals are listed at PHP 2,500 per hour or PHP 6,500 per day, with optional equipment insurance charged separately. Freestyle Academy: instruction

Freestyle Academy publishes private beginner and progression lessons. Level 1 introduces safety, equipment set-up and wing handling; Level 2 develops board control and riding in different directions. Each beginner level is listed at PHP 12,000 for three hours, or PHP 24,000 for the six-hour combined program. Progression coaching is listed at PHP 4,000 per hour and covers skills such as gybes, tacks and foot switches. Confirm equipment, prerequisites and available dates. Greenyard: wingsurfing courses

Greenyard is based on Bulabog Beach. Its published wingsurfing options include a 1.5-hour discovery session at PHP 6,000, a three-hour introductory course at PHP 12,000 and a six-hour full course at PHP 24,000. The introductory course covers wing and board handling and reading conditions; the longer course describes upwind riding, turning and foil-board skills. Confirm equipment inclusions and how much time is spent wingsurfing versus foiling. Progress depends on the rider and conditions.

Shangri-La Boracay: airport connections

Caticlan (MPH) is the closest airport. Kalibo (KLO) requires roughly 1.5–2 hours of road travel to Caticlan before the boat connection. Shangri-La describes a short drive to its private Mabuhay Centre lounge followed by an approximately 15-minute speedboat trip to the resort. This is a resort guest transfer arrangement, not a general school shuttle. Confirm transfer eligibility, luggage space for foil equipment, late-arrival charges and the latest schedule with your accommodation.
