Saved destinations and trip briefs
Saved destinations and explicitly saved trip briefs use this browser’s local storage. A working trip is kept in session storage to carry your choices between pages. These tools do not create an account, synchronize across devices or submit your brief to a provider. Browser storage may remain until you clear it.
Contacting a business
Contact links open another website. Information you submit there is handled by that business and its website provider. The GoWingFoiling trip inquiry form is described below. This site does not collect payment details.
YouTube and external sites
Some pages load muted YouTube videos automatically through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. Loading an embedded player makes a connection to a third party; privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data is transmitted. Browser settings can prevent autoplay. Read YouTube’s embedding guidance and Google’s privacy policy.
Some destination photographs load from Wikimedia Commons. Your browser connects to Wikimedia to display those images.
Optional maps, photographs and wind
Interactive maps connect to Google after you choose to load them. The photo discovery button requests additional licensed photographs from Wikimedia Commons. The homepage automatically requests a NOAA wind forecast from the University of Hawaiʻi’s PacIOOS service. These services receive connection information such as your IP address. Wind can be turned off in Globe controls. Forecast data stays in memory for this visit and is refreshed on request after one hour.
Measurement and hosting
No third-party analytics or advertising service has been connected to this site. The site prepares outbound-click events within the page but does not send them to an analytics collector. Cloudflare hosts this site and may process connection information to deliver and secure it.

Use the contact page for privacy questions. This notice will need updating when accounts, booking systems, analytics or new data collection are introduced.
Inquiries and partner applications
Our forms send your contact details and the trip or business information you provide through Formspree to our team so we can respond. Trip inquiries may include rider count and up to three saved destinations when you choose the shortlist inquiry. Partner applications include your school, teaching locations, experience and public website. We include an inquiry reference, submission time and the form page for follow-up. To understand which guides generate inquiries, we also include the entry page, most recently visited destination guide, inquiry source page and referring website hostname when available. This context is kept in session storage, expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and is sent to our team only when you submit a form. If you arrive through one of our Instagram launch links, this context may also include our fixed campaign labels identifying Instagram, the launch campaign and the feed, story or bio link used. Only those predefined labels are retained; arbitrary URL query strings, search terms and your browsing history outside this site are not collected. The clear-data button above also clears this inquiry context. We ask your permission and identify the intended independent provider before sharing your inquiry. With your permission, the relevant contact and trip details are shared so that provider can respond under its own privacy practices, including in the destination country. We also include the referral-terms version you acknowledged with your inquiry. To ask about your data or request deletion, email [email protected]; legal obligations may require some records to be retained. It does not sign you up for marketing. Do not include payment information or sensitive personal details. Contact details entered into this form are not saved in browser storage. Formspree processes submissions under its privacy policy.
