ION identifies April–October as its preferred period. It describes easterly Levante as strong and side-offshore, and westerly Poniente as side-onshore. Summer may offer flatter water and chop, while autumn and winter Poniente can bring swell and shorebreak. The operator explicitly says beginner sessions depend on conditions. Stronger wind is not necessarily better for a learning trip.

Municipal tourism identifies windsports and school activity at Los Lances Norte, a more town-adjacent family beach at Los Lances Sur, and separate bathing and wind-sport areas at Valdevaqueros. The page does not establish exact wingfoil corridors. Ask the school where wings currently launch, inspect shorebreak and foil clearance, and confirm assistance coverage. Do not transfer a kite rule or seasonal beach ban to winging without checking.

Compare the full connection to your accommodation rather than airport distance alone. If carrying a foil bag, confirm its acceptance on each leg. A car or agreed transfer may simplify a town-to-school routine; it is a planning choice, not a requirement for every visitor.
